REUSABLE FACE MASKS
Uniquely designed during the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, our 3D face mask design was developed after many hours of research and trials. It encompasses the essence of safety, comfort and responsibility to our environment.
This Earth Day, we celebrate our environment with sales of uniquely designed reusable face masks. All sales proceeds will go to the charity "Garden City Fund". This charity aims to conserve Singapore's rich biodiversity through tree planting, coral planting and reef seeding.
WHY
A reusable face mask?
Face masks have became a part of our daily lives since the onset of the global Covid-19 pandemic. Masking up though, saves lives. But the choice of single-use masks has also caused another global concern. An estimated 3 million single-use masks are disposed every minute! (Reference)
The amount of waste generated by these single-use masks, when placed next to each other, covers an area almost three times the size of Singapore each month! Disposable face masks cannot be broken down readily as they are made from non-biodegradable, non-woven, polypropylene fabric and takes 450 years to break down naturally. (Reference)
We need everyone to take an active step to slow down choking Mother Earth with our waste while dealing effectively with the pandemic.
When you choose a reusable face mask, you make a positive statement and also take effort to save the environment.
